We firmly believe that a thorough review of current and historical biological data is critical to ensure minimal impact of development on wildlife. Through our streamlined process, we review all available data to give you the best peace of mind.

HISTORICAL RANGE REVIEW

We comb through records in museums and publications to see if rare biota were present at any point at the proposed site.

PERCISION SATELLITE IMAGING

Our access to high quality satellite imagery is an unparalleled tool for identifying region of interest to survey, saving significantly on consulting costs.

INTERPRET HISTORICAL AERIEL IMAGERY

When available, historical imagery can be extremely helpful in painting an ecological timeline of a given habitat. This can be crucial for several reasons, such as finding where wetlands are, if a habitat is actively succeeded, and what species may or may not be present.

REVIEW FINDINGS & MANAGEMENT REPORT

When a species is or is likely to be present, BPC will provide a letter with management recommendations, a report of all applicable local, state, and federal laws to be aware of, applicable maps, and commentary if further action is necessary (ex. field surveys).
