Sean M. Callahan
Founder & Executive Director
Sean started BPC with the goal to explore, document, and preserve the biodiversity – and push the industry to adopt far higher standards, leading by example. With 10 years of experience in biodiversity sciences, Sean has lived BPC’s mission in the context of Curator, Conservation Director, & Research Ecologist at world and regionally renowed institutions, namely: University of Michigan Museum of Zoology, The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, and Grass River Natural Area. Sean received his B.S. from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor in 2019. In 2022, he earned his M.S. in Ecology, Evolution, and Organismal Biolgoy from Eastern Michigan University ( Summa cum Laude), being in the same graduate cohort as Sadie Baker (Associate Preservationist).
